ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN And ANATHEMA To Take Part In Progressive Nation At Sea 2014

Vocalist ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN (ex-THE GATHERING) and ANATHEMA are the latest acts to be confirmed to take part in Mike Portnoy’s Progressive Nation At Sea 2014, which is set to take place February 18th – 22nd 2014 on the Norwegian Pearl heading from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay and Freeport, Bahama.
Portnoy recently checked in with the following update:
“Just to clarify, Progressive Nation At Sea is not a “tour” (for those saying “come to ____”). This is a five-day unique event. You will never see a line-up of these 20 bands anytime/anywhere else. There’s no way I could put together all these bands to do an entire tour; it’s just not financially or technically possible. I know the $ is steep, but you’re getting over 20 bands with multiple performances over the course of a 5 day cruise, plus all bands and musicians on board to mingle and meet the fans. I know some bands that charge more than this for a 30 minute meet & greet!”
