Song / Video Premier: Ignited’s ‘Bloody Satisfied’Friday, 4th August 2023
We’re thrilled to be premiering the brand new music video and first single for Brazilian heavy metal upstarts Ignited, which will be part of the band’s exciting forthcoming sophomore album Cradle of the Wicked, coming to set your world ablaze on October 27th.
Having begun in 2017 in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, Ignited have been on a mission to craft intense, forthright traditional heavy metal that emits a palpable energy. Their 2019 debut full-length, Steelbound, accomplished just that, offering an unequivocal and crunchy debut that turned more than a few ears.
Now residing in Stockholm, Sweden, the band is gearing up to unleash Cradle of the Wicked, which aims to up the intensity even further, and maybe strain one’s neck just a little bit more. Kicking off the lead up to the album’s release is the excellent first single “Bloody Satisfied,” along with a music video as a visual teaser!
Guitarist Dalton Castro states, “‘Bloody Satisfied’ revolves around achieving a greater good after a long and arduous journey; as if a spell had to be cast to make it happen once and for all. It captures the pure delight of reflecting on the past and discerning what was truly worthwhile.”
The song features an energetic pace and guitar shredding to the highest degree, all coupled together via lead vocalist Denis Lima’s melodic tonality. If crunchy, direct old school heavy metal is in one’s wheelhouse, Ignited’s latest is not one to miss.
The visuals of the video compliment the song nicely, showcasing an aggressive performance by the band within a toned down monochrome stylization, highlighted with bold red aesthetics throughout, and a looming storm over a cityscape under nightfall. Sounds cool, right? Check it out for yourself!
