Saturday, 12th October 2013

MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine will be a featured soloist with the San Diego Symphony in April, 2014 in a program that will include Wagner’s ‘Ride Of The Valkyries’ from Die Walküre, Vivaldi’s ‘Winter’ from The Four Seasons and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 (the New World symphony).

The classical special concert, billed as Symphony Interrupted will take place at Copley Symphony Hall in San Diego, California on Saturday, April 12th at 8:00 p.m. Ticket are on sale now at this location.

In recent news, MEGADETH will take part in remembering a country music legend. The band is among the latest additions to the upcoming tribute concert honoring the late Country Music Hall of Famer GEORGE JONES.

MEGADETH will contribute a performance of Jones’ song ‘Wild Irish Rose’. Dave Mustaine admits the song “may be an unexpected choice,” given Jones’ extensive catalog of hits. But he says the 1998 single is “a perfect example of Mr. Jones’ way of reaching inside every one of us, and making us aware that we all have pain.”
