As Adelaide, South Australia-based funeral doom masters, MOUNRFUL CONGEGRATION, prepare to make their return to the United States for their first-ever East Coast performances in support of their two-song Concrescence Of The Sophia 12″ release, the entire record is now streaming below.
Set for official release next Tuesday, June 24th via 20 Buck Spin, Concrescence Of The Sophia leaves an impressive, lasting first impression, with nearly a half hour of brand new material which expands upon MOUNRFUL CONGEGRATION’s massive foundation of sound.
Directly in conjunction with the release of Concrescence Of The Sophia, the band will return to American soil, this time making their anticipated debut East Coast live appearances. The band will headline two separate nights of the massive five-day Martyrdoom Festival in Brooklyn, performing Friday, June 27th alongside Imprecation, Begrime Exemious, Geryon and more, and then again on Tuesday, July 1st, joined by 20 Buck Spin labelmates, Lycus, as well as Lord Mantis, Vilkacis and Evoken. The duo of Martyrdoom shows will be bridged by additional shows in Baltimore, Maryland and Worcester, Massachusetts, on June 28th and 30th respectively.
