British extreme metal heathens CRADLE OF FILTH have checked in with the following update from the studio, where they are recording a new album due for release later this year:
“CRADLE OF FILTH guitarist hextraordinaire Rich ‘Haunted’ Shaw has now finished tracking all his guitar tracks for the upcoming 2015 opus nocturne, code-named Hammer Of The Witches, out June 26th via Nuclear Blast. And it’s sounding (un)holy fucking awesome to boot! Next week Richard will be back in deepest, darkest Suffolk and Grindstone Studios for a couple of days of solos and lead overdubs, then it will be the turn of Scottish bassist Daniel Firth to add his prowess to the general evil melee.
Stay tuned for further updates on this musickal misadventure, which promises to be CRADLE’s most anticipated release to date prior to a long, dirty black Summer of European festival appearances before the band head off to the States for the Autumn equinox.”
