As reported earlier this week, MOTÖRHEAD have postponed their European tour with leader Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister’s stating: “I have to sadly let you know that Motörhead has had to postpone the forthcoming European tour until early next year, 2014. We have made the decision because I am not quite ready to hit the road yet, and am working my way back to full fitness and rude health.”
An update from tour partners SAXON states: “As we have heard unfortunately the Motörhead tour has been postponed until spring! We all hope Lemmy will come back stronger than ever! Saxon will be on the tour together with Motörhead in spring and we are waiting for the new dates which will be announced soon.
Due to the new situation we went back and forth but the logistical challenge we are confronted with have forced us to move the Saxon headline shows as well. We are in the middle of dealing with this and will let you all know ASAP! The only show which will be still on is the Metal Hammer Paradise festival in Germany!
We are very sorry for the difficult circumstances but we hope that everyone understands and we will rock even harder when we hit the road again with Motörhead! Keep the faith!”
SAXON will release the Unplugged And Strung Up re-make album November 18.
