Swedish folk music masters, FEJD have posted a brand new video for “Den Skimrande”, the fifth track from their upcoming LP, “Nagelfar”. The third full length is scheduled for release via Napalm Records on May 29 (Spain, Sweden, Norway), May 31 (Germany, Austria, Finland, Switzerland), June 3 in Rest of Europe and June 11 in North America. This Swedish folk quintet is arguably one of the only authentic sounding Scandinavian Folk bands on the planet so be sure to check them out and their new video below.
FEJD formed in May 2001 through a union of the folk music duo Rimmerfors and their childhood friends, Esko Salow, Thomas Antonsson and Lennart Specht. Since their formation, they have transformed into a band with the best of both worlds – the weight of heavy metal in symbiosis with the typical melodic language and sadness of the Nordic folk music. The Rimmerfors brothers musical background as well as their band mates have their roots in heavy metal music. Inspiration is also drawn from bands on similar wavelengths such as GARMARNA and HEDNINGARNA. They released three demo albums so far: I En Tid Som Var (2002), Huldran (2004) and Eld (2006). They signed to Napalm Records in 2009 & released full-length albums, “Storm” and “Eifur”.
