DEVILMENT, featuring the master of horrors Dani Filth (Cradle Of Filth), have parted ways with guitarist Daniel Finch, and are in need of a replacement.
Says the band: “On our holy quest to find a new guitarist, DEVILMENT have issued the following traits that must be implemented:
– Age 18+
– Own equipment of a professional standard
– Own transport
– Full passport
– Able to commit to rehearsal schedule
– Able to tour and gig immediately (live work starts in March)
– 30 mile radius of Ipswich, Suffolk, England
We are looking for someone who has the same passion and drive for psychotic music that the rest of the band does. We need someone who will contribute ideas to the songwriting process and who is not afraid to get involved. Commitment and the desire to succeed are a must. Ideally you will already have both some touring and studio experience with a strong stage presence. Other ongoing projects are fine but DEVILMENT MUST be the priority. As with any touring band there will inevitably be times when you will be away from family and work for extended periods. You will have to be comfortable and able to commit to this.
And what the Devil else, we hear you cry?
If you think you are up to the job then you will need to record 3 videos of yourself playing along to three tracks from The Great And Secret Show, those being…
“Mother Kali”
“Summer Arteries”
“Sanity Hits A (Perfect) Zero”
Upload them to YouTube and send the links to: devilmentband@hotmail.com
If you could manage to squeeze a solo out over any of these tracks, then that would be extremely beneficial to the cause.
Videos must be submitted by January 1st. We will look at all submissions and contact those who we would like to invite to come for a full audition. Full auditions will take place in Ipswich and anyone who is asked to come along MUST be available on Thursday, January 8th, 2015. Times, etc. will be arranged.
We are all looking forward to hearing some fresh, outrageous guitar chops, so get those rollicking audition tapes flooding in!
All the best and Happy Xmas!” – Dani, Lauren, Colin, Nick and Aaron
