Canadian symphonic death metallers, VESPERIA have unveiled a new album trailer for “An Olden Tale”, which is slated for release sometime next month. The teaser video, which offers fans a sneak peek at the record’s artwork and sound, is available for viewing below via Youtube. “An Olden Tale” marks the first effort from the band since releasing their 2011 full-length album titled, “Voyage From Vinland” and 2012 demo, “The Swordsman.” VESPERIA tapped artist Jan Örkki Yrlund to create the artwork for the brand-new album.
The band released the following statement via their website about the new album teaser: “We have been very quiet lately regarding our new album; making sure the mix is where it should be and generally making sure everything is sounding good and heavy. Now, we are extremely excited to bring you one of a few album ‘trailers’ showcasing the sounds and sights of our new album An Olden Tale, along with the first official viewing of the front cover for the record!”
Formed in 2005 by vocalist/bassist Morgan Rider, the Ontario-based quartet started out as a black metal band and have evolved since, redefining and perfecting their musical direction into something courageous and fierce. VESPERIA has been relentless since its inception, touring amongst the ranks of WOOD OF YPRES, KALMAH, TYR, KORPIKLAANI and more.
