Scandinavia’s leading all-lady hard rock/heavy metal outfit CRUCIFIED BARBARA has released the video for “To Kill a Man,” a song from their forthcoming fourth studio album, In the Red, set to be released on August 20th.
“We and many of us feel a huge impotence and rage when we hear and read about men who systematically abuse and rape women,” commented the band. “This type of crime is something that happens every day, everywhere. Of anger, we create music. Heavy substances and harsh riffs became the song ‘To Kill a Man,’ a really heavy song in a double sense.”
CRUCIFIED BARBARA formed in 1998 in Stockholm, Sweden with punk as a first inspiration, which can still be found as a presence today. However, throughout the years the quartet has evolved towards a harder, heavier and more contrast-filled rock sound, mixing elements of thrash, sleaze and hard rock.
