NIGHTINGALE, a Swedish band featuring renowned musician/producer Dan Swanö and his brother Dag Swanö, have entered the studio two days ago to start recording its first album in almost seven years.
The quartet comments: “It’s gonna be worth the wait ”
NIGHTINGALE’s sixth album, White Darkness, was released in June 2007 through Black Mark. The term “White Darkness” is an expression that lead singer and lyricist Dan Swanö used to describe the state of mind he was in during the aftermath of his divorce. Most of his lyrics on this album are diaries from months of soul searching. During this dark period Dan did not write much music, so his older brother Dag Swanö (formerly known as Tom Nouga) stepped in.
NIGHTINGALE is:
Dan Swanö (WITHERSCAPE, EDGE OF SANITY) – Vocals, Guitar
Dag Swanö (DAG SWANÖ’S ÄVENTYR) – Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards
Erik Oskarsson (DAG SWANÖ’S ÄVENTYR) – Bass, Backing Vocals
Tom Björn (MEMORY GARDEN) – Drums
