Zamboni’s Chris Butera: What I’m Listening To

Saturday, 16th April 2016

Just as with our music, in general, my tastes in music are a little out there. Lately, I’ve been listening to Moon Tooth’s Chromaparagon a lot. They’re an unbelievable band to see live and the album is just as dope. I also listen to a lot of rap, so I usually crank Snoop Dogg when I’m writing and editing contributing writers for my website, The Bonesaw and Wu-Tang Clan, Onyx, NWA or Cypress Hill when I’m playing video games or just lounging about the house.

Also, Witchaven is touring the east coast right now so Terrorstorm is on every few days in anticipation. I’ve also been listening to a lot of punk/hardcore bands like MDC, Arnocorps and The Dicks. “Saturday Night at the Bookstore” is such a ballsy and hilarious song and The Dicks were super brave for writing it when they did. I’d love to cover it just to see the kind of reactions we’d get. I also picked up some Fats Domino records in Oregon so those have been on as well. In the immortal words of Roger Hill, “Can you dig it?”
