Seattle, WA heavy metal band THE GODBEAST – featuring ex-3 INCHES OF BLOOD bassist Nick Cates, ex-VULTURES 2012 drummer Tony Rodriguez, and vocalist Jut Rans – have released their debut EP. It is available for $5 via the band’s Bandcamp site here. The EP was recorded at Seattle’s Red Room Studios (MASTODON, ISIS, THE SWORD) with Christiaan Morris.
THE GODBEAST is described as combining “the intensity of thrash and death metal bands like KREATOR and CARCASS with the riffing of 70s rock bands like DEEP PURPLE and UFO.
