Swedish Band BOMBUS Signs With Century Media

Wednesday, 10th April 2013

Gothenburg, Sweden-based metallers have signed with Century Media. The label has set an August release for the band’s Poet and the Parrot album.

BOMBUS was started late 2008 in Gothenburg by axemen Feffe and Matteas a two-piece but then quickly emerged to a full band with Ulf (bass) andPeter (drums) joining the party. Heavily influenced by MOTÖRHEAD,MELVINS, METALLICA and POISON IDEA, the freshly expanded four-piece started to play its first live shows and evolve their own unique sound more and more. After releasing three seven-inch vinyl singles and the a self-titled debut album in 2010, the band matured a lot by laying down a good amount of live shows what also gained them a massive die-hard fan base. Recently the new bass man Jonas came in the band, as Ulf stepped back from his duties on stage and now takes care of the band’s artworks and videos. The story continued and it was the summer of 2011 when Century Media Records got an eye on BOMBUS.
Comments BOMBUS in statement: “BOMBUS are proud to announce that we are teaming up with Century Media Records for the release of our upcoming album ‘The Poet And The Parrot’. Century Media has always been a prominent label with a high-quality roster, and we are happy as pigs in shit to now be a part of it.”
