Thursday, 8th May 2014

As the release of the sophomore LP from New York City’s melancholic sludge metal faction SERPENTINE PATH grows ever closer, with the disturbing Emanations now less than three weeks from its street date, the band has leaked another song from the album, in addition to officially announcing a hometown record release show. The song “House of Worship” can be streamed via the Soundcloud widget below.

A record release show for Emanations is set to take place subsequent to the album’s release on June 21st at The Acheron in Brooklyn, the evening will mark the second-ever SERPENTINE PATH live performance, and is not to be missed for all seekers of grime, corruption and decimating amplification.

Emanations will see release through Relapse on May 27th. The follow-up to their self-titled 2012 debut, Emanations is the band’s first SERPENTINE PATH studio venture featuring new second guitarist Stephen Flam of NYC doom/death legends, Winter, aligned with founding members Tim Bagshaw (ex-Ramesses, ex-Electric Wizard) and a triad of ex-Unearthly Trance members, bassist Jay Newman, drummer Darren Verni and vocalist Ryan Lipynsky (The Howling Wind).
