OCTOBER FALLS Post Video For “Boiling Heart Of The North”

Tuesday, 18th June 2013

Finnish folk/epic metallers OCTOBER FALLS have posted the video for the song “Boiling Heart Of The North,” which can be streamed below. The song comes off the band’s recent The Plague Of A Coming Age album, which was released in early 2013 via Debemur Morti Productions.

The video was directed by Håkan Sjödin (known for his videos for MARDUK, SETHERIAL…) and is taken from the band’s fourth masterpiece The Plague Of A Coming Age and features amazing vocals by Tomi Joutsen (AMORPHIS).

According to a press release, OCTOBER FALL’s current musical style is a mixture of atmospheric acoustic music and harsher Black Metal-oriented material and could be compared to early acoustic ULVER, DRUDKH and PRIMORDIAL blended together with a personal touch and strong melodies. Still, the early acoustic side has not been completely abandoned; there have been occasional acoustic releases through the years and there will also be similar releases again at some point on the horizon. The Plague Of A Coming Age represents a step forward from the previous material, with shorter songs and more varied material, and with the bass player S. Hinkka (ENSIFERUM) stepping in.
