OBITUARY To Host Pay-Per-View Event Playing First Three Albums

Floridian death metal legends OBITUARY will perform their first three albums — Slowly We Rot (1989), Cause Of Death (1990) and The End Complete (1992) — live during a pay-per-view event on Saturday, June 8 at Unation.com.

The shows will feature new lead guitarist Kenny Phillips, who replaced Ralph Santolla (DEATH, DEICIDE), who departed the band in 2011. OBITUARY is currently writing and recording material for a new studio album, tentatively due in early 2014 via an as-yet-undetermined record label.

The band’s most recent album was Darkest Day, which was released in 2009 via Candlelight Records.
