JUDAS PRIEST To Receive Big-Screen Premiere For “Epitaph”

British metal masters JUDAS PRIEST have announced a big screen cinema release of the electrifying “Epitaph” live concert as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations. A unique, live career retrospective, “Epitaph” promises to be a full-on concert film experience which will be made available on DVD and Blu-ray on May 28 through Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Starting May 14, a series of exclusive screenings will take place in selected cinemas in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil with more being added. Fans will have a limited opportunity to re-live the excitement of the final show of the band’s final world tour, which was filmed at the Hammersmith Apollo London in May 2012.

JUDAS PRIEST’s current lineup embraces vocalist Rob Halford, lead guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner, bassist Ian Hill, and drummer Scott Travis.
