Jeff Loomis’ Father Passes; Tour Dates To Be Missed

Wednesday, 24th April 2013

Former NEVERMORE guitarist Jeff Loomis has released the following statement:

“On April 22nd in Corpus Christi, Texas, I got the very sad news of my father’s passing right before we were about to perform. I will be flying home to be with my family tonight and will rejoin the SOILWORK tour in Richmond, Virginia on the 29th. Thank you all for your support and warm thoughts.

“My dad meant the world to me and this is a very difficult time for both me and my family…”

Loomis and his band had their van broken into earlier this month while in St. Louis, Missouri. The group took a huge hit financially and is asking fans for their support. They have set up a PayPal account ( for any amount of donations to assist them for the duration of the tour.

The special tour edition of Loomis’ latest album, Plains Of Oblivion, was released on April 16 via Century Media Records.

Plains Of Oblivion – Tour Edition features three bonus tracks, in addition to the original Plains Of Oblivion disc that was released last year.
