Vocalist Steve “Zetro” Souza of EXODUS has released a statement regarding the death of Gustavo Molina, who went into cardiac arrest and later passed away in an ambulance as EMTs attempted to save his life at EXODUS’ show in Buenos Aires on October 9.

In a statement, Souza tells World Entertainment News Network: “We are extremely shocked and saddened by the death of one of our fans, Gustavo Molina.

“We never want anyone to get hurt at one of our shows let alone die. Our condolences go out to him and all of his family. It has affected every one of us in the band and even our crew. To all of us, it was like losing a family member, because that’s how we look at our fans; they are part of our family. [They have] been a part of our family for many years. Everybody in the EXODUS camp are truly sorry for this tragic and horrendous event.”

Molina reportedly played bass for the Argentinian thrash metal band KRONOS.
