Dead Rhetoric.com Week in Review September 20 – 26, 2014

Interesting to see how dealing with leaks on the Internet has changed. Swinging from the near-lawsuit antics of the All Shall Perish fiasco a few years back to the “if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” attitude of the recent leak of two new Machine Head tracks, it does seem the times are changing. Though it does beg the question of what would happen if one of the ‘big’ releases were to happen upon the Internet early (At the Gates, Sanctuary, or even say, the entire Machine Head album). You know someone’s going to be in some massive trouble, at least if last year’s Carcass leak is any indication. – Kyle McGinn
