ARKAN Premiers New Song “Hayati”

French Oriental metal band ARKAN have premiered the first new track taken from their forthcoming third full-length, Sofia. The track, titled “Hayati” (“My Life”) is streaming now at the official ARKAN bandcamp page.
Sofia will be released on digipak CD on May 23rd, 2014. The album is available for pre-order at the Season of Mist e-shop. The artwork and track list for the album can be found below.

Over its ten years and several releases, Parisian metal band ARKAN has matured into a heavy, subtle and melancholic group. Their metal is tempered by Arabic percussion, ancient oriental string instruments, and the ethnic sounds of Algeria and Morocco.
