Video: OPETH Acoustic Performance In Support Of ‘Record Store Day’

Swedish progressive metallers OPETH celebrated “Record Store Day” this past Saturday, April 20, giving fans a free acoustic performance and signing at Newbury Comics in Leominster, MA. Fan-filmed video footage of their appearance can be seen below via Youtube.

Founded in 2007 and officially started in 2008 by METALLICA, “Record Store Day” takes place on the third Saturday of every April and brings together artists and independently owned record stores around the world to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and sold in stores.
