VICIOUS RUMORS Announce European Tour Dates

VICIOUS RUMORS will return to Europe to support their latest album, Electric Punishment. Electric Punishment was released on April 29 in Europe and May 7 in North America through SPV/Steamhammer. The band are set to kick off “The Summer Of Punishment” tour in a few days and have issued the following statement:
“The Summer Of Punishment Tour is featuring major festivals such as Bang Your Head on July 11th in Balingen Germany, a duel geadliner with CANDLEMASS. This is a special show featuring Kevin Albert, son of legendary Vicious Rumors vocalist Carl Albert. Anyone who saw VR with Kevin at Keep It True Festival in 2011 knows this will be a night to remember!
“VR has just been confirmed for Metal Day’s Festival, formerly Metalcamp, in Slovenia on July 23rd. An epic homecoming for Tilen Hudrap, our newest family member joining VR on bass guitar for the summer tour. The Turock Summerfest in Essen is like VR’s hometown show in Germany. Oh and did we mention it’s free!! That’s right, July 20th at the Turock.
“VR returns to “Headbangers Open Air July 26th in Brande-Hornerkirchen Germany co-headlining with METAL CHURCH and OVERKILL for a set including songs that have never been played live! Next VR is unleashed at the Stonehenge Festival in the Netherlands, July 27th.
“Last and going out with a bang!! The Alacatraz Festival August 10th in Belgium in is the last show in Europe this year!! After 40 great shows supporting the new album Electric Punishment, VR will be going out big again playing songs never heard live. Bob Capka returns to VR on guitar. The band is tight and ready to crush the summer stages! Look for VR on tour in Europe this summer! Along with these great festivals look for special club dates in Germany, Austria and the NL.
