NIGHTWISH: New Song “Shudder Before The Beautiful” Now Streaming

A new NIGHTWISH song “Shudder Before The Beautiful” has posted on the homepage for the Helsinki Times here.

Keyboardist/mastermind Tuomas Holopainen commented on the song:

“The core of ‘Shudder Before The Beautiful’ lies in moments such as gazing at The Milky Way is a cold winter`s night, seeing a photo of our planet Earth, a pale blue dot taken by the Voyager 1 as a tiny oasis in the unfathomable vastness of space, or When listening to music momentarily which takes away all woe and time. And sharing those moments with people you love.”

The Endless Forms Most Beautiful title came from Charles Darwin’s “The Origin Of Species” book, where he wrote: “There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, while this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.”
