MUMAKIL Splits With Drummer Kevin Folley

Monday, 11th November 2013

Today, Swiss grinders MUMAKIL have announced the departure of drummer Kevin Foley and the swift arrival of a replacement sticksman. The band, who are currently writing new material, checked in with the following update:

“OK, time to give some news! First of all: unfortunately Kevin Foley left the band, due to another engagement. Kevin was already a long-time friend when we asked him to take over for Seb. Let’s just say that he’s a true friend, an awesome and really professional drummer; we’ll never forget him! We wish him all the best for the future!

“We’re glad to announce that we have found one terrific new drummer. His name is Max! This guy’s exactly what MUMAKIL’s been looking for. A really fast technician with a clearer punk touch in his play.

“We’ll do our first show with him on December 12 2013 @L’ilôt 13 in Geneva, along with BRUTAL TRUTH! Be there!

“In addition, we’d like to announce in advance the special show we’re preparing for MUMAKIL’s 10th Anniversary, which will of course take place in our hometown of Geneva @ L’Usine on March 29 2014, along with our buddies from ROTTEN SOUND, BLOCKHEADS, INGROWING, FEASTEM, KESS’KHTAK and more…

“We’re currently working hard on new songs for the next album! We’re more motivated than ever! Believe me, the next album will just kick ass!

“We’re proud to see all of you guys following us! We’d like to thank all the people who have supported us for the past two years. Now we’re back, stronger than ever! Thanks to all our friends, fans and family! Grind on!”
