MOTÖRHEAD Post New Photos From The Studio

MOTÖRHEAD recently have been holed up at Maple Sound Studios in Santa Ana, California to begin recording their next album, scheduled for release later this year. Songtitles set to appear on MOTÖRHEAD’s follow-up to 2010’s “The Wörld Is Yours” include “Outsider” and “Silence When You Speak to Me”. Photos from their time in the studio have surfaced and are available below.
Earlier this week, the makers of Motörheadphönes received a message from producer Cameron Webb, who is currently in the studio working with MOTÖRHEAD on the new CD. Webb told Motörheadphönes how amazing their products are for tracking.
Webb commented: “Mikkey Dee (MOTÖRHEAD drummer) shot out your headphones with a bunch of the usual studio headphones and yours won every time. So during all his drums he has been using Iron Fist. Lem [Ian ‘Lemmy’ Kilmister, MOTÖRHEAD vocalist] has also been tracking all his vocals with Iron Fist as well. I’m impressed with them as well; they are able to hold up the extreme levels both of them need in headphones.”
MOTÖRHEAD’s latest album, “The Wörld Is Yours”, sold 7,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position #94 on The Billboard 200 chart. The band’s predecessor to “The World Is Yours“, “Motörizer“, premiered with 6,400 units back in 2008 to debut at #82, while 2006’s “Kiss Of Death” registered a first-week count of 3,500.
