Markus Johansson Joins 4ARM

The lead guitarist/vocalist for SYLENCER Markus Johansson has joined the ranks of Australia-based metallers 4ARM and will replace former 4ARM vocalist Danny Tomb.
This is not Johansson’s first crack with 4ARM as he has previously played guitar for 4ARM on the road in 2013 following the departure of John Paul Glovasa, who left the band due to “serious family issues.” Danny Tomb exited 4ARM earlier in the month for personal reasons.
4ARM’s third studio album, Submission For Liberty, was recorded at Melbourne Records with Danny Tomb and drummer Michael Vafiotis producing. Mixing the CD was U.K. engineer Matt Hyde (MACHINE HEAD, SLIPKNOT, TRIVIUM) and mastering duties were handled by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound in New York City. The cover artwork was designed by Brent Elliot White, who previously worked on ARCH ENEMY’s Khaos Legions.
