AVULSED: New Drummer Introduced

Less than two weeks after announcing the departure of Osckar Bravo, brutal death metal outfit AVULSED have found a replacement after testing a few drummers. The new beast behind the drumkit is named Erik Raya, a very young but talented guy that’s actually playing drums for Spanish metallers Silver Fist since 2011.
Says the band: “Although other drummers tested were of very good level, we were especially impressed about Erik’s incredible technique and powerful way of playing. He’s perfect for what AVULSED is looking for!! A mixture of technical and pounding drummer that’s able to ensure the continuation of the band’s crushing live performances”.
The band continue: “From the rest of members in AVULSED, we want to give a big welcome to Erik Raya with whom we’ll continue spreading the brutality all over the planet!!”
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of AVULSED’s debut EP Carnivoracity, Xtreem Music will reissue this already legendary recording both on CD and 12″ LP as well as limited run of t-shirts. Originally recorded in December 1993, the three studio songs (17 min.) were first released as a 7″ EP in June 1994 by German label M.M.I. Records, making of this, the very first release of a Spanish extreme metal band by a foreign label and quickly becoming a collectible item.
